Exclusive Interview With Michael Gove MP Secretary of State for Education

“Well I’ve looked into this and I think I can see where students, teachers, Heads and parents are going wrong. For some very strange reason they seem to be living with a fallacy. What they don’t understand is that it is perfectly reasonable that the exact same piece of work submitted in June should be awarded a much lower grade than when it was submitted earlier in January.

“It stands to reason; for one thing the students are older. They have had longer to work on it so there has to be a forfeit payed for this extra time.

“It seems pretty obvious to me. All this talk of ‘bench-marks’ is just a lot of gibberish.”

Thank you Secretary of State – (knobhead. ff)
