Theresa May, Woolwich and The Communications Data Bill

Woolwich

The two murder suspects, Adebolajo and Adebowale, remain in custody in hospital after being shot and wounded by police at the scene.

On Sunday the Foreign Office confirmed it had given consular assistance to suspect Adebolajo when he was arrested in Kenya in 2010.

A Kenyan government spokesman told the reporters Adebolajo was believed to have been preparing to fight with Somali militant group al-Shabab.

Adebolajo was then handed over to “British security officers” when it emerged he was a UK citizen, Mr Kariuki added.

Confirmation of the arrest would renew the pressure on the UK security services over how much they had known about Adebolajo and whether more could have been done to prevent Drummer Rigby’s killing.

Given that UK security had all this very specific information we have to ask the simple question, “What on earth did they do with it for 3 years?”

Data Bill

‘Maggie’ May is now trying to push through a Law that will allow UK security to monitor everybody’s Interweb traffic. That is around 21 MILLION households! We seriously doubt that she has the slightest idea what she is talking about.
