We wish we had made this story up. MPs, yes that’s Members of Parliament, are very likely to call in senior figures from the BBC to explain if changes have been made following the Savile Scandal and what they are if they have been.
Chairman of the culture select committee, Jesse Norman, let it be known that he needs to be “satisfied the culture has changed”.
What would be far more interesting is if Jesse Norman investigated allegations of child abuse surround politicians over the last 50 years. Janner springs to mind instantly but he is far from the only one. The idea of an MP trying to steer the blame towards others and away from themselves is not unusual but this one really does take the piss! LINK
