The second weekend is upon us and we have this Saturday/Sunday split again along with this BBC/ITV split. Any match without the inane comments of John Inverdale is fine in our book and a vast improvement. So what have we got on offer?
First up is France v Ireland. We think this is the hardest one to call. France are at home and can’t be as bad as they were last week even though they won, just. Ireland are away we have a sneaky feeling they might just win this and really give France a headache.
Later in the afternoon we have Wales v Scotland and we would all be very surprised if Wales didn’t walk away with this one. They are at home and are probably feeling frustrated that they didn’t win away from home last week. Yes, Wales with a bit to spare.
Sunday is a trip over to Italy to see them take on England. Italy dipped out last week with that dreadful last minute drop kick that went for a corner. Had they won that match they could be up for a game against England but we think the white shirts will be too strong for them.
Let’s all hope the weather allows all the teams to play some rugby.
