CMA Conclude That A Phone-Based App Will Solve All Our Banking Problems

This will not take long – what an utter load of bollox! The Competition and Markets Authority have come up with the brilliant of idea of rather than telling the banks to stop ripping their customers off they should introduce an app. Could they be any more useless?

Never mind that people are using their overdraft facility beyond that agreed, because without a pay rise for five years they are running out of money, the answer is an app on their smart phone. What do you do if you haven’t got a smart phone?

The whole CMA just shrieks of a bunch with too much money, who have no idea what it is like for 60% of the public and whose principle concern seems to be to keep the banks happy.

It’s straight out of an episode of The Thick of It.
