Prof. Carswell UKip (Hons) took time out of his busy schedule to explain a few scientific facts to the wider scientific committee. He put forward the hypothesis that it is the gravitational pull of the sun that caused the tides and that the bulk of scientists have got it wrong.
Foolishly the rest of us have believed it was the moon that allowed us to predict the highs and lows of tides. How short-sighted we have been.
The prof. also explained that he was currently working on two scientific papers that he is looking to publish at the end of the year. One is his hypothesis that the earth is in fact flat and the second is that water does actually flow up hill. LINK
