The BBC came out with the classic government-style bullshit press release that means absolutely bugger all – “We take audibility seriously and we will look at the sound levels on the programme in time for the next episode.” Yeah, right, so seriously that they didn’t bother checking it before putting it on the telly.
The BBC made a right Horlicks like this before with the unwatchable Jamaica Inn but have clearly learnt nothing.
