Useless Hunt Tried To Cover-Up Yet Another Cock-Up Under His Watch Due To Privatisation

Half a million pieces of NHS data had been lost resulting in 173 patients needing to be urgently examined to see if they have suffered harm as a result.

The data was in the hands of a Private Companyas if we didn’t know – daring to call themselves NHS Shared Business Services. It seems 500,000 items of data were sent between GPs and hospitals but remarkably they went undelivered for FIVE years and nobody at SBS realised.

The Hunt knew about all this back in March. So that’s from March 2016 he has been covering up the dangerous cock-up. His pathetic excuse for holding on to this vital information is that he was a bit worried that GP surgeries would get a tad too busy with requests for information.

He said, “Publicising the issue could have meant GP surgeries being inundated with inquiries from worried patients”. The idiot should be sacked.

While The Hunt was delivering this tosh to The House the Commons Public Accounts Committee (PAC) released a letter from the DH’s permanent secretary, sent last Friday.

It stated: “The NHS England Incident Team has now completed distribution of around 2,500 documents triaged as potential high risk of harm.

“173 responses have been received so far from GPs indicating cases that require further clinical review and arrangements are now being progressed for relevant clinicians to conduct these reviews between now and March 2017.”

Now here’s the odd thing. While The Hunt was talking in The House he was involved in yet another cover-up! The Hunt made no mention of the 173 cases as he answered an urgent question, even while admitting it was “completely extraordinary” that the blunder had not been spotted for five years. What a slime ball he is.

Proof positive, again, we cannot trust our NHS in the hands of the Nasty Party and The Hunt should be sacked in the morning.
