It Seems The Oliver Restaurants Are Not Quite As Pucker As They Used To Be

Two of his restaurants in London have gone into administration and his top-of-the-range Barbecoa steak restaurant will close a year after it was re-launched. This is on top of the closing of 12 of his 37 Italian restaurants affecting some 200 employees.

It was revealed that his Italian sites had debts of £71.5m!

His chain of Union Jack restaurants have now closed as has his magazine, ‘Jamie’,which had been running for 10 years.

On the brightside his book sales have seen a profit of £5.4m although hardly enough to make a dent in his debts! At least his cooking range is still going making him some £7.3m a year.

Get ready for a new book everyone!
